Premier Family Vision Care

Build-Out

The project goal was to build-out an existing office space to fit the needs of an optometry office. The program included a reception and waiting area, labs, exam areas, ADA bathrooms and compliance throughout the space, break room and service areas.  From a design standpoint, we provided schematic design, construction documents and construction administration. Design accounted for full mechanical equipment updates, including a roof top unit and duct work, new electrical panels and circuits, low voltage, ADA compliance for bathrooms and space, plumbing for sinks in exam areas, new supply and waste piping, lighting, flooring, acoustical ceiling, painting, fire protection, labs, exam & service areas and overall renovation of the space to achieve program goals. We completely changed and removed the entrance ramp to construct it to be code compliant.

JP Architects, Ltd. provided comprehensive architectural services, including pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting and construction administration.

JP Architects, Ltd. designed the build-out of my optometry practice, Premier Family Vision Care. The old tenant for the building was an accounting practice. It was an unwelcoming, dark, 1980s office building. With JP Architects, Ltd. on the team we were able to transform the space into a modern, comfortable practice. They worked seamlessly alongside my interior designer. Additionally, JP Architects, Ltd. provided a solution for an ADA-compliant entrance ramp. It really added to the entire aesthetic we were trying to create at our practice. The exterior and interior are beautiful, and we are now ready to be a staple of the Palos Heights business community for many years.

Dr. Katie Narbone, Premier Family Vision Care

The old entrance to the building was not ADA compliant, nor aesthetic. We reworked the entrance to be more welcoming for patients. The idea here was to not have an ADA ramp just go straight up into a door. The client still raves about this change to thier entrance and says it truly makes the biggest different for their building.
