History

Founded in 2015

 

JP Architects is a full-service architectural firm specializing in K-12 Design, Higher Education, Governmental Design, and Commercial Architecture. Our philosophy is simple: we REALIZE the possibilities, DESIGN your reality, and INFLUENCE your life and community. We bring this mindset to every interaction and project, turning ideas into reality through consistency, quality, timeliness, reliability, innovation, and functional design. At JP Architects, every partner and client is a priority—regardless of project size. With a talented and diverse team of architectural professionals, we have the capacity to manage multiple projects.

 

Our footprint in the public sector continues to grow. We’re proud to serve as the architect of record for Community High School District 218 and Chicago Public Schools, as well as numerous higher education institutions such as College of DuPage, Northeastern Illinois University, Joliet Junior College, Chicago State University, Moraine Valley Community College, and Elgin Community College. Our work also spans several state agencies, including the Illinois Capital Development Board, Department of Human Services, Department of Corrections, Department of Military Affairs, and many others.

 

We are prequalified as a vendor for the Public Building Commission of Chicago and the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, and we hold a professional services contract with the Chicago Park District. Additionally, we are DBE-certified through the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and MBE-certified through the State of Illinois and Cook County.

 

On the commercial side, we deliver design services for new construction facilities, mixed-use developments, adaptive reuse projects, large-scale developments, building renovations, and tenant build-outs.
