Eisenhower High School Addition
Field House
A State-of-the-Art Field House Addition Where Learning and Performance Thrive Year-Round
JP Architects designed a field house addition at Eisenhower High School, creating a versatile learning space for students and a dedicated, comfortable environment where athletes can train, practice, and perform year-round. Complete with all necessary support facilities and modern amenities, this facility enhances both academic and athletic experiences.
The field house addition equips CHSD 218 with facilities to support a wide range of athletic activities, including basketball, volleyball, and indoor track, along with dedicated spaces like weight rooms, batting cages, and rock climbing walls. The facility is designed for functionality and comfort -- all while maintaining the District's budgetary expectations. Enhanced outdoor traffic flow and an expanded corridor provide improved building access and additional gathering spaces for students and the community. This facility not only opens up new opportunities for students but also strategically positions the District to serve its stakeholders and communities for years to come.
A birds-eye view of Eisenhower High School's Field House Addition. While budget was a major emphasis for design, quality was maintained to the highest of standards. School branding, colors, and finishes were important to the District and that is reflected throughout the space.
